Burak Dimici is an Energy/Infrastructure and M&A lawyer with a multi-disciplinary background. After graduating from Ankara University Faculty of Law in 2001, Burak started his career as legal counsel at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and, by special assignment, as advisor to the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources. During this period, he was seconded to advise BOTAS and the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan Crude Oil Pipeline Project and was involved in negotiations of various international agreements.
Previously, he provided legal and regulatory advice as an associate at the Istanbul office of multinational law firm Dentons. He also worked as in-house counsel at multinational energy conglomerate AES Corporation, taking active roles in the company’s joint ventures with IC Holding (AES-IC) and with Koç Holding (AES-Entek).
