Straife opens first Asia-Pacific office to drive regional business growth
June 8, 2023Houston-based risk and compliance consulting firm Straife has expanded its reach into the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region by opening a new office in Kuala Lumpur. Straife aims to expand its business reach to the region.
Headquartered in the energy capital of the world, Houston, TX, the new office will accelerate the company's growth, expanding solutions such as corporate strategy, energy, and ESG beyond North America and Europe.
Commenting on the milestone, Joseph Fleming, CEO and Managing Director of Straife, said, “We expect the region to be a future fuel to our growth story as well as a gateway to participate in the global commodity markets.”
“Straife’s presence in Kuala Lumpur will open more doors to explore avenues for growth in business and innovation,” explained Jason Fuller, Managing Director and head of Global Development. “This is especially true as energy companies transition to renewables and require guidance with technology validation, market positioning, and project development,” Fleming continued.
Straife’s energy transition team provides clients with comprehensive strategic, technical, and engineering services, including technology validation, technical and strategy advisory, project development support, M&A services, pre-feasibility engineering studies, carbon intensity assessments, and turnkey ESG strategy deployment.
“Our globally recognized team of experts has been advising stakeholders in the private and public sectors throughout the Western Hemisphere. As we enter APAC, it only made sense to open our first office in Kuala Lumpur, with its history of innovation, regional positioning, and consistent global business growth,” explained Fleming.
Prior to joining Straife, Jason worked for the office of U.S. Senator Ted Cruz beginning in February 2018 as the Southeast Texas Regional Director, where he regularly met with elected officials, business leaders, stakeholders, and constituent groups to address their concerns and promote economic growth for the region.
